Startup Weekend 2015

For a third year, FertiLab Thinkubator will be hosting Startup Weekend! This year Startup Weekend will take place at FertiLab’s Springfield Startup Center in downtown Springfield. This is be the first time that a Startup Weekend will be in the City of Springfield.

Pitch a business or product idea opening night, top ideas draw teams to build out the project over the weekend. Get connected to the local startup community and meet with local entrepreneurs, designers, and software developers.

Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekend culminates in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. Teams will also hear presentations from a lineup industry leaders and receive invaluable feedback from local entrepreneurs.

The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education.  Whether you’re looking for feedback on an idea, searching for a partner or co-founder with specific skill sets, or a team to help you execute, Startup Weekend should provide you with amazing opportunities.
