FertiLab’s Founders Present series:
, the VP of Floragenex, will engage us in how his company navigated the very tricky path of IP generation and use from start to growth.
Jason Boone has a PhD in biology from University of Oregon, but left the academic life quickly to accept a position with the then, startup company, Floragenex as director of animal services. During his six years at Floragenex, Jason directed R&D activities around fractional sequencing technologies, performed business development roles, and two years ago, moved into the role of the Vice President to the company. Starting up a technology based company means dealing with IP issues first-hand, and Jason has seen plenty of good and bad in his time with Floragenex, which he is going to share with the community!
As always, our Tuesday evening presentations are free and open to the public!
