Hustle is one of the key things that early stage investors look for in a founder. Join us over the next five weeks and find out how to get hustling!
How you pitch your business and engage potential co-founders, investors and mentors will play a significant role in the success or failure of your business. Ty will talk about the ways to engage your audiences including the type of information you need, how demonstrate your hustle and what not to do.
Ty comes from a background of program management and coordination at institutions ranging from less than 3 employees up to 48,000. As such, his introduction to entrepreneurship came in the form of “intrepreneurship” at some of these institutions where he founded internal entities and programs, with each requiring the same rudimentary building blocks of any startup: idea generation, market validation, business & product development, pitching, fundraising, execution, hiring, and feedback loop reporting. He is currently CEO and co-founder of ROAM Fitness, an airside located “airport gym” based concession style company. Ty has his MBA from the University of Oregon, and a mathematics undergrad degree from Dartmouth College. Ty is also an amateur home brewer, outdoor enthusiast, and pilot.
