Join FertiLab for our second Hustle Talk. Hear from Jennifer Bell, Founder bell+funk and expert in customer anthropology, who will share with us her secrets to peeling back the layers to discover the truth behind what customers want and need.
Jennifer began her career in the San Francisco advertising industry where she remained for ten years. She spent the first five at Goldberg Moser O’Neill/San Francisco, formerly Chiat/Day. At GMO, she worked on Dell Computer, Dreyer’s Ice Cream, Kia Motors, Rollerblade and others. She later led consumer research projects for clients Old Navy, California Pizza Kitchen and Lane Bryant for Tattoo, a brand consultancy. She also served as strategic planner on the Visa account at AKQA, and on the Cisco Systems account at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners/West. Jennifer returned to her hometown of Eugene in 2004 and was most recently the Marketing Director at the Science Factory Children’s Museum.
Jennifer was one of the first University of Oregon Journalism grads to pursue a career in advertising account planning, which was new in the U.S. at the time. Jennifer is the only account planner in Eugene. Jennifer has also served as an adjunct instructor in the UO School of Journalism & Communication.
